These pictures were taken yesterday while waiting for the concrete trucks to arrive. (That didn't happen!) This is the back side of the shop looking from the yard toward the street.
HOORAY! The concrete trucks arrived late this afternoon, and we were thrilled they were here after watching the weather this morning. We are expecting storms this weekend and possible snow next week. It was now or at least a week later!
Once again, our little "project" created quite a stir in our very quiet neighborhood. Our builder had to get out in the street and direct the afternoon traffic, which basically consisted of one neighbor and a school bus that tried to make their way up the hill.
The guys were here smoothing everything out until about 7:00 PM tonight. Eric and I brought out a pizza to make their work a little more enjoyable! I can't wait to see how it looks in the morning!
Edee went out for awhile today and "supervised" all of the activity. I know she would have loved to put her footprints all over the wet concrete! Let's just hope the neighborhood dogs don't find it this evening! Eric might come unglued!!
