Gardening!

After a successful trial of gardening in pots, we decided it was time to start a "real garden." We picked out the site with the perfect amount of sun, and Eric got busy cutting boards!






I got my workout for the day while digging up weeds and prepping the site.


After a trip to Home Depot for some great dirt, we were ready for planting!! We are expecting a bumper crop of radishes, green onions, lettuce, carrots, green beans, and spinach. Edee insisted we plant corn but we're a little skeptical! We also have blackberries, jalapeños, strawberries, asparagus, and an avocado tree planted in other places throughout the yard.


Edee & Reed are just about ready to join the lawn maintenance crew!!
