Our little minnow!

Edee had lots of fun at Mommy and Me swim class. She was the youngest baby there, by far, but she gave it 100%!
Edee LOVED jumping off the side of the pool! She would act like she forgot how to stand up and it was hilarious!
Most of the kids were 2 or older, but Edee and I practiced just like the "big kids!"

She has no fear of putting her face in the water and she even closed her mouth...some of the time! :-) We need to work on the blowing bubbles part. (And YES, she did swim with a bow in her hair! Aren't you proud Aunt Allison?)
She was so glad that Daddy came to watch her swim on the last night! We haven't been able to practice much at Tiki Cove due to the rain, but I am definitely NOT complaining! I am so thankful for the cooler temperatures!

Mommy and Me

So...Edee and I were SUPPOSED to start Mommy and Me swim class last night. What a mess! I had to stand in line forever last week to register her. I was there for about an hour and a half, but apparently that wasn't enough time for someone to tell me that the time had changed from 7:00 to 6:00. Needless to say, when we arrived at 6:50 we had missed the class. We came home and swam in Tiki Cove, and we'll try again tonight. GEEZ!! I don't think she could have looked any cuter! :-)

Welcome to Tiki Cove!

So, after returning from a WONDERFUL vacation in Red River, the heat was too much for me to handle! (I really intend to post my pics from RR soon, but in the mean time you can visit www.flynnville.wordpress.com to check out some of Katy's pics!) I finally convinced Eric that we needed some sort of pool. After a frantic search of Big Lots, Wal-Mart and Target on Saturday, we found this "beautiful" summer must-have! Apparently, everyone in Burleson beat us to the punch b/c these things are in short supply!

Redneck or not, our blue, bubbling above ground pool is a life saver! We had it set up in about 45 minutes, but it took about 5 hours to fill. Around 9:00 PM, Eric and I had our first swim in Tiki Cove and it was superb! There is a little blue sign on the tree with the name of our new oasis. We even have a hammock donated by our friend, Rob, a palm tree, cooler, chairs...you name it and Tike Cove can provide it!
