Flynn Family Fun Park

We went to visit our friends after Eric finished up his week in Austin. It is always fun just hanging out in the Hill Country! The girls did some shopping while the boys played with stereo equipment. Edee had a great time in her borrowed walker. She loved following Cullen around and he liked getting some kisses! Thanks for a fun weekend, Uncle Brad, Aunt Katy and sweet Cullen!!

What a Week!!!

The pictures are in reverse order, but here is the recap of our week:
Eric had to go to Austin this week for a conference, so NeeNaw and PeePaw came to keep us all company. Edee stayed home each morning, but we had a very busy week! It started with lunch at Babe's with some family friends, The Rabuns. They gave Edee the precious pink bow that matched her dress!

Edee also spent some time showing everyone how much she loves the new flooring that Daddy installed before he left! She can really zip around in her Jeep!

On Thursday, Edee went to Kindermusik with Mommy and NeeNaw. This was her 3rd week, and she LOVES it! Daddy even took her last week because I had a meeting. Edee had a special surprise this week because her friend from school, Clara, started Kindermusik, too! They were so precious together!

We finished the week with a trip to Aunt Katy and Uncle Brad's. (no pictures of that, just yet) I met Eric there and we had fun just hanging out with our friends. I know he was happy to be home today! He broke all land speed records on the way home, and we even have the ticket to prove it! HA!

Fun at NeeNaw and PeePaw's!

We were able to spend a wonderful early Christmas with NeeNaw and PeePaw. TeeLee and her family were all there, and we spent one whole day in our PJ's! It was perfect!
Edee, Eric and I returned about a month later for a long weekend. Edee was showing off her two bottom teeth in the picture above. She now has 2 more coming in on top. She is ready for Daddy to cook her a steak!!

Off Road Adventures!

These pictures are from Thanksgiving in Red River. We trailered the Sami to the mountains and were able to see some beautiful scenery! Eric went to a few places on his own, but Edee and I also tagged along for some of the "milder" adventures. We also took Poppy Wally and Christy to a few spots. I will say that, aside from Eric, Christy was the bravest one in the group! Edee slept through most of it, but I stayed busy looking for bears, ice or steep inclines!! My poor mom was a nervous wreck until we called her from the cabin, safe and sound!

Holiday Update!!

I have not done a very good job of keeping my blog updated, but I am hoping to change that this year! I have been given the wonderful opportunity to job-share this next semester, which means that I will work in the mornings and another teacher will work the afternoons. It started when we came back from Christmas and I have LOVED it! Of course, I will be sharing my paycheck, so we'll see how that goes before we decide whether to continue this scenario next school year!

We went to Red River for Thanksgiving and were able to go on some advenutures in the Sami before the snow started falling later in the week! Eric and I skiied while Edee stayed at the house with JoJo and Frank. We all had lots of fun while Poppy Wally and KiKi worked, but we had Thanksgiving dinner ready for them when they got home! (pictures and videos to come soon!)

Edee met Santa Claus for the first time at our local winery, Lone Oak. She had no trouble being left in his lap! We also took a Christmas "sleigh" ride through the vineyard and finished off with some live Christmas music on the patio. They have the best events there!

What a good eater!!!!!

Edee started eating cereal about a month ago, but these pictures were taken around Halloween. We moved on to sweet potatoes last week and she loved them! We tried squash tonight and she had no objections! Notice how she is grabbing the bowl? We handed her a spoon last night and she stuck it right in her mouth!

Sweet Berry Farms

I wanted to take Edee somewhere and get pictures of her in the pumpkins. Aunt Katy found out about Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls, and it was perfect! They have so many fun activities for kids (and grown-ups), but Edee was just a little too small this year. She will have a blast there next fall!!
